Penny Britton Kolloff retired from the faculty at Illinois State University. She earned a PhD at Purdue University where she also served as Assistant Director of the Gifted Education Resource Institute (GERI) and directed the Program for Academic and Creative Enrichment based on the Purdue Three-Stage Model. Penny has served on the board of directors of NAGC and received both the Early Leader award and the Outstanding Research Paper award. She was president of the Illinois Association for Gifted Children and is currently on the GERI advisory board at Purdue University. Her work research and publications include book chapters and articles on curriculum and programs for gifted, literacy, and gifted females. In 2007, she moved to Wisconsin and loves living in Eau Claire with her husband and their golden retriever.
