As a teacher of high ability students, you know the joys and challenges that come with your gifted learners. You’ve challenged the high-achieving students who just can’t seem to learn enough. You’ve supported the perfectionists whose work is seldom good enough for them to call complete. You’ve provided flexibility for the creative students who live for the road less traveled. You spend hours creating a curriculum that will engage your students and even more hours thinking about what you can do to better meet each of their unique needs.
The teacher section of the IAG website has been created to provide you with information and resources to support you in teaching Indiana’s high ability students. IAG has prepared this information to help you meet Indiana’s state mandates for identification and services and best serve your high ability students and their families. We hope you find this information helpful and encourage you to share these resources with other educators.

Acceleration Institute
The Acceleration Institute was first established under the name, "Institute for Research and Policy on Acceleration" in 2006 at The Connie Belin & Jacqueline N. Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development at the University of Iowa through the generous support (2006-2012) of the John Templeton Foundation.
