Middle School Community Conversation: Motivating the Unmotivated

All students can struggle with motivation, but middle school teachers can often see a different type of motivation struggle with high ability students. Many students can see right through a lack of genuine effort to motivate them. Join fellow middle school teachers to discuss common struggles and pitfalls in motivating students. Together we will learn practical strategies to ascertain the cause of motivation struggles at this age, how to get kids to see the value and purpose, and how to potentailly alter activites to increase motivation.
